Client Information
Mt. Edgecumbe High School is a public boarding school operated by the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development. Initially established in 1947 by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Mt. Edgecumbe provided Alaska Native students in grades 1-12.
Mt. Edgecumbe High School is rich in culture – the culture of pride in being a MEHS Brave, as well as melding vast cultural heritage from across Alaska. When a student arrives at MEHS, he or she becomes a member of a unique family of students, staff and teachers who live and work together. We respect the sixty-five year history of this school and the thousands of students who have come before us.
We also innovate and change to adapt to a twenty-first century world.
